Scope. Belarus academic transcript/detailed certificate for Spanish homologación/equivalencia, including archive reconstruction and missing-content cases.

Draft transcript solution in brief

A Belarus diploma proves neither the duration nor the academic content required by RD 889/2022 art.13.1(d). Spain needs a detailed official academic record showing the programme duration, subjects and each subject's workload/credits where applicable. If the standard transcript is unavailable, an issuer/archive/successor document can solve the problem only if it actually reproduces the legally required academic content. Apostille does not create missing subjects or workload. The current-law route is therefore standard transcript → archive/successor academic record with equivalent content → issuer verification → art.14 extension where justified. If no surviving official evidence can reconstruct the required academic content, ordinary RD 889/2022 currently has no universal substitute; that is the point for a narrowly designed alternative-assessment reform, not a fictional “certificate of missing transcript”.

Primary project record: Belarusian academic certificate / transcript / Spanish homologación or equivalencia

1. Exact Spanish evidentiary function

RD 889/2022 art.13.1(d) separately requires official evidence of:

Art.13.1(c) proof that a degree was awarded does not satisfy this function.

2. Belarus source hierarchy

Test in order:

  1. original supplement/transcript;
  2. duplicate/academic certificate from the institution;
  3. semester/examination extracts where they collectively cover the required content;
  4. archive/successor certification;
  5. other official educational records capable of reconstructing the art.13.1(d) fields.

Do not treat an archive letter saying “the person studied/graduated” as a transcript unless it contains the required academic detail.

3. Authentication route
